After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, ‘Europe’ seems to rediscover its forgotten diplomatic guise of a club of sovereign states sharing a continent. The most puzzling manifestation of this renewed awareness has been the establishment of the European Political Community, a new meeting forum for the greater European family.
