A proposal on establishing a collaborative network to counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference

Following the ‘Defending and securing democracy’ roundtable co-chaired by the French President Emmanuel Macron and Moldovan President Maia Sandu, representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Finland, Iceland, Kosovo, Lithuania, Andorra, the European Commission, and the Secretary General of NATO endorsed a proposal to establish a collaborative network that promotes the values of the right to information, freedom of expression, and transparent sources of information. The collaborative network would serve as a space to raise awareness, share information and counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference.
