At the 1st EPC summit in the Czech Republic, the leaders committed to promoting and expanding UK-French civil nuclear cooperation. They also reaffirmed the full support of the UK and French governments for the construction of a new nuclear power station at Sizewell and expect the relevant authorities to finalise the agreements and financial arrangements in the following months.
